Ignite Me

I really don’t know how to feel about this book. Ahh…

The first one in the series was cheesy, the second one – awesome, and this one was a mix of both. Kind of a guilty pleasure. Not too clever, but filled with a lot of scenes I’ve been waiting since the previous book. IF! you know what I mean. 😀

I’ve read it in two sittings, I think. Had a great time, got a lot of emotions, but… in my opinion, so many things were illogical and unrealistic. The ending was short and just not convincing. I loved the steamy scenes, but that’s it.

I think, author wanted to make a huge plot twist and change our minds about both of Juliette’s boyfriends, so she made Adam look psychotic and tried to excuse Warner too much – why why why? – some of the things, that he has done, were just inexcusable, so why make an angel out of a devil? 🙄

I love AND hate this book at the same time, can you relate? I gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5.

I don’t even know if I want to read the sequel, I don’t know what to expect from the characters, Tahereh Mafi has made them unreliable. I’m scared. I’m interested to read about where the Reestablishment goes, but I’m pretty happy about Juliette’s and Warner’s relationship right now, and I have a feeling of a surprise coming, so… Maybe it’s too much to handle for me.
